About Henry
Henry Wacey is a highly motivated and all-round professional stage manager, backline tech, instrumental tutor, and folk rock musician from Somerset’s artistic hub, Frome.
Henry is currently working with artists: Tunde Baiyewu, Alison Goldfrapp, and Dreadzone, and in-house at The Cheese and Grain in Frome. As a performer, he has shared the stage with the likes of Nick Heyward, Mad Dog Mcrea, Beans on Toast, Skinny Lister, and many more.
2015 saw Henry release his debut EP ‘Here I Go Again’, embark on his first solo tour, and play at other well-loved festivals that summer.
In 2016, Henry released his second EP ‘On My Travels Again’, recorded with his backing band, The Orchard Keepers.
Since releasing the second EP back in 2016, Henry has headed out on a number of tours, with the hometown dates featuring The Orchard Keepers.
He's currently writing new material with The Orchard Keepers, with a
release date to be announced.
Since 2019, Henry has been tutoring for Sounds of Frome Music School, teaching guitar, bass, banjo, mandolin, and ukulele. With Sounds of Frome closing, July 2026 sees Henry branch out to teach under his professional name, Henry Wacey Music.
